A powerful and clear affirmation of the essential equality of God the Father and God the Son. (Eph. 4:4-6) Here is the Scripture which explains it best. I John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the same as the Word mentioned here in 1 John. Eternal God is the beginning of all. Our Salvation is by believing in Lord Jesus Christ. The Word was Creator God. All things exist by Him. He bought us with His precious blood, and we are now adopted children of the Father. There is no other way to the Father, but by Jesus Christ of Nazareth. NOT Moses, NOT King David, NOT Elijah, NOT our family, NOT our pastors, NOT our friends none of them ONLY JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH. Isaiah 12:6 "Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great [is] the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee." "Cry out" speaks of telling all who are in hearing distance of His greatness. There is a literal Zion {Jerusalem} and there is a spiritual Zion {church}. Are you the church of the Lord Jesus Christ? Then shout the good news of the gospel to all who will listen. The greatness of God is so far beyond the comprehension of the fleshly mind. It is only through the spirit that we get a glimpse of the greatness of God. The glory of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is that He is with them. His light burns brightly in His church. So many churches have locked Him out, and He is knocking to get in, but the true church is filled with the Light of the Lord so greatly, that it sends out a beacon of Light to the entire world to see. The Light draws men to it. Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
